Deliver Us from Evil - A Pastor's Reluctant Encounters with the Powers of Darkness (Paperback, Repackaged Edition): Don... Deliver Us from Evil - A Pastor's Reluctant Encounters with the Powers of Darkness (Paperback, Repackaged Edition)
Don Basham; Foreword by Neil Anderson
R438 Discovery Miles 4 380 Ships in 10 - 15 working days

Are Christians at risk of demonic invasion?
"Absolutely not," thought Pastor Don Basham when another pastor suggested evil influences might be causing turmoil in his church and failures in his ministry. But after more troubling and perplexing problems, Basham began to discover he was wrong.
In this page-turning account, Basham chronicles his reluctant journey from disbelief to acceptance in the existence of demonic spirits. More than a story, he imparts what he discovered about demons, the difference between infestation and possession, and how to engage in spiritual warfare. He also describes the biblical tools that bring about deliverance from demonic influence.
Through this moving story, you will learn how to recognize the presence of evil spirits, pray for deliverance and protect against demonic invasion. It's never too late. You can find the freedom and healing you need--and be an agent of deliverance to others.

Organizational Change and Innovation - Psychological perspectives and practices in Europe (Paperback): Dian-Marie Hosking, Neil... Organizational Change and Innovation - Psychological perspectives and practices in Europe (Paperback)
Dian-Marie Hosking, Neil Anderson
R1,066 Discovery Miles 10 660 Ships in 12 - 17 working days

First published in 1992. Organisational change and innovation has been at the centre of much management literature, which has been informed by debates in organizational behaviour and strategic management. The psychology of how people in organizations adapt to and manage change is key to our understanding of the processes by which such changes can occur successfully. Organizational Change and Innovation brings together the recent research findings of leading European work and organization psychologists, who take stock of existing theories about organizational change in the light of new case material. Their findings, from a range of cultural and national contexts, challenge some previously accepted models and set a new agenda for future research. In particular, the volume provides new perspectives on the person organization relationship; the political qualities of organizational change; the input-output model of organizations as entities; and finally on research methodology.

R360 Discovery Miles 3 600 Ships in 12 - 17 working days

What do you say to someone who is hurting? How many times in everyday conversation do we struggle to comfort others in a troubled world? Christians should be "first responders," say Andy Reese and Jennifer Barnett, yet we lack the tools and confidence to reach out. We end up frustrated by our own inability to connect meaningfully and make a difference. But what would happen if we had the ability and courage to speak out in love? In these pages Andy and Jennifer give you the practical understanding and simple tools to do just that. You can fill even your casual conversations with the gentle yet transforming power of Jesus Christ. Here is what you need to confidently step out to bring peace, give grace and help others experience renewal. Visit www.freedomprayer.org for more information. Creativity and Innovation in Organizations - Current Research and Recent Trends in Management (Hardcover): Jose Ramos, Neil... Creativity and Innovation in Organizations - Current Research and Recent Trends in Management (Hardcover)
Jose Ramos, Neil Anderson, Jose M Peiro, Fred Zijlstra
R3,983 Discovery Miles 39 830 Ships in 12 - 17 working days

This book reflects on the increasing variety of perspectives in organizational innovation research, paying attention to the antecedents, but also to the outcomes, of innovation. Some chapters analyze the 'dark side' of innovation, including the potential negative consequences of innovative behaviors, or of defying the innovation maximization fallacy. Others explicitly consider affective responses after innovation efforts, and assume that positive or negative effects rely on the context in which innovations occur, and on the way in which people manage the process of innovation. Several contributions adopt the dialectic approach by considering the multiple pathways and mechanisms that could lead to innovation at organizations. Most of the chapters include the interaction of actors' characteristics (from employees or teams) together with situational constraints from the task or the social context, and outline the relevance of processes like team learning; motivation variables like basic need satisfaction; congruence of motives or meaningfulness at work; dynamics of communication networks; and affective variables. This edited collection offers a rich picture of current research and management trends in the field and contributes constructively toward promoting the dialectic perspective on creativity and innovation in the workplace. This book was originally published as a special issue of the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology.

Spiritual Warfare for Women - Winning the Battle for Your Home, Family, and Friends (Paperback): Leighann McCoy, Neil Anderson Spiritual Warfare for Women - Winning the Battle for Your Home, Family, and Friends (Paperback)
Leighann McCoy, Neil Anderson
R413 Discovery Miles 4 130 Ships in 12 - 17 working days

Evil is real, and Christian women know it. While most books on the topic of spiritual warfare take a charismatic approach, "Spiritual Warfare for Women" aims directly at the center of the evangelical market, giving instruction and assurance to all women who want to protect themselves and the ones they love. McCoy provides spiritual wisdom and practical tips on identifying the enemy's strategies, overcoming fear, and exercising the power that comes from God. The book is structured around the battle between God's love and Satan's lies. Once a woman can embrace the first and reject the second, she is well on her way to victory.

Each volume in this collection covers a key area of innovation and knowledge management, reflecting both historical roots and cutting-edge scholarship. Volume One covers individual creativity and innovation. Volume Two focuses on teamwork and group innovation. Volume Three adopts an organization-wide perspective, including papers on the innovation process, resistance to change and radical versus incremental innovation. Volume Four treats knowledge management in the context of organizational knowledge, knowledge networks, knowledge transfer and organizational learning. This four-volume collection has been selected and organized by renowned scholars in the field working under the guidance of an international editorial advisory board.

Neil Anderson
R898 Discovery Miles 8 980 Ships in 12 - 17 working days

Information communication technologies (ICT) permeate almost every facet of our daily business and have become an important priority for formal and informal education. This places an enormous responsibility to achieve equitable deployment of ICT on governments, education systems, and communities. Important equity issues examined in this book include gender issues, disability, digital divide, hardware and software developments, and knowledge transfer. Previous books have tended to concentrate on single aspects of equity and computer use; this book fills the pressing need for a comprehensive look at the issues. Equity and Information Communication Technology (ICT) in Education is an essential book for professionals involved in this emerging area of study, and a useful text for undergraduate and graduate classrooms.

In January 2014 I spent a few days in Paris staying with a friend who was renting an apartment on the Boulevard Saint-Germain. Whilst there I visited the Brassai exhibition at the Hotel de Ville and dined at Le Temps des cerises (18, rue de la Butte aux Cailles). The graffiti photographs were taken in the area of the restaurant. After I returned to London I carelessly went to a gig in Waterloo the night before it was actually scheduled. As the night was clear and dry I decided to take a few photos on a walk from Waterloo to Tottenham Court Road. The photos in Paris were taken on my Leica D-Lux 4 and the photos in London on my Nikon D700 with a 50mm f1.4 lens at 6400asa.
